Westview Commons Executive Director Appointed

     Country Living at Westview Commons, an independent and assisted living center to be constructed at 117 Ware Road in Dayville, has announced the appointment of Donna Copeland from Putnam, CT as their Executive Director.

     David T. Panteleakos, Executive Vice President for Country Living at Westview Commons stated, “We are all truly excited to have Mrs. Copeland join our Westview leadership team to execute the implementation of our independent living center project. Donna is so uniquely qualified for this project considering her background in construction, property management and as a health care administrator. This project was conceptualized back in 1998 by Eileen Panteleakos who was the administrator for Westview Health Care Center at the time and we are all very excited to finally bring her vision and this project to fruition.”

     The project includes a 112,000 square foot, two story building with 44 single bedroom units, 29 two bedroom units, a lower level indoor parking garage, a large two story great room for dining and entertainment, a country store, café, movie theater, library, gym, outdoor gazebo with walking trails, gardens and exterior water features as well. The program also touts a long list of amenities including concierge services, 24 hour security, dining, numerous educational and recreational programs, transportation, entertainment; and support for cleaning, maintenance and laundry services.

     Provost and Rovero, Inc. of Plainfield, CT is the engineering and design firm for the project and a fall ground breaking is anticipated with a late 2020 grand opening.
