Happy Memorial Day

We honor all those who have fallen so that we may stand as proud patriots in the United States of America. Our freedom, peace, and joy is only possible through the generations of brave men and women who have made this ultimate sacrifice. The Westview family is forever grateful for our brothers and sisters whose lives were laid down in order for us to rise. We send Memorial Day blessings to all.

Country Living at Westview Commons hosted events to ensure that proper homage and honor was declared for fallen soldiers in our American pursuit. In the morning, guests from the Danielson Veteran’s Coffeehouse joined residents for a memorial tribute. As prayers, poems, and passages were said, somber yet steadfast expressions looked out with gratitude.

Later in the day, “The Company Bees” joined us for an entertaining U.S.O. style review. Fashioning themselves after the Andrews Sisters, The Company Bees delivered a witty repartee and catalog of songs for assembled patrons. They do a wonderful job interacting with the crowd, and had everyone singing—and some, dancing!
