Johnson Awarded Employee of the Month

Eric Johnson of Danielson, CT was recently named Country Living at Westview Commons’ Employee of the Month for February 2021. Hired in August 2020 for the position of Support Services Supervisor, Mr. Johnson proved to be an ideal candidate for the position due to his prior 12 years of support services experience at Westview Health Care Center.

Mr. Johnson’s convivial personality and unabated sense of humor are just two qualities that the residents and staff of Westview Commons have come to expect on a daily basis. These traits, coupled with his vast knowledge and familiarity with the processes and systems of the facility, are integral to the many duties and responsibilities of his position.
Outside of work Mr. Johnson enjoys spending time in the outdoors including playing disc golf at local courses and both fresh and saltwater fishing. He is also very passionate about food and enjoys creating dishes for his friends and loved ones, including his toughest food critic, wife, Emily Brochu Johnson.
“It’s a real honor to have been chosen as Employee of the Month,” remarked Johnson. “The residents and staff truly bring out the best of me and it’s a privilege to be a part of this new community.”
He is always eager to go out of his way to help others.
“Eric is an incredible resource to the daily operations here at Westview Commons,” stated Donna Copeland, Executive Director. “Not only is he mechanically-minded and highly adept at troubleshooting challenges, he is always eager to go out of his way to help others in any way that he possibly can.”
